EnglishHow to Get Updates About Zoë Sharp's New Books
Updated
The most direct way to hear about Zoë Sharp's new releases is to join her VIP email list, which the site describes as sending "alerts on new books." The sign-up page is at zoesharp.com/vip-mailing-list/, and the site repeats the invitation to "Join my VIP list for alerts on new books!" in its navigation. If you'd rather not hand over an email address, the same site is still worth checking manually: new titles are flagged on the homepage, and the blog "At the Sharp End" carries author news and related posts.
Joining the VIP mailing list
- Go to zoesharp.com/vip-mailing-list/.
- Enter your email address in the sign-up form on that page.
- Submit the form and watch for a confirmation email, since mailing-list sign-ups normally require you to confirm before alerts start arriving.
Expected result: you receive emails when a new book is released. The site does not state how often messages are sent or whether they cover anything beyond new-book alerts, so treat the frequency as unknown until you see the first few.
Common snags
- No confirmation email. Check spam or promotions folders before signing up again.
- You only want release news, not general updates. The site doesn't offer separate list options, so there's no documented way to narrow what you receive.
- You want to leave later. Every mailing list should include an unsubscribe link in each message; the site doesn't describe one, but this is standard practice.
Checking the site without subscribing
If you'd prefer to browse, the site is organised so new releases are easy to spot:
| Where to look | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Homepage | Current release, e.g. The Girl in the Dark marked "OUT NOW!" |
| Books sections | All books, short stories, and box sets, plus "Books in Order & Excerpts" |
| Series pages | Blake & Byron, Charlie Fox, and Lakes Thriller series listings |
| Blog: At the Sharp End | Author posts and news |
The homepage currently promotes The Girl in the Dark, the first Blake & Byron book, as available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook. A 30-day audiobook trial is also mentioned on the page — check the current terms on the site before relying on that, since trial conditions can change.
A note on formats and series
Zoë Sharp's site groups her work into the Charlie Fox series, the Lakes Thriller series, the Blake & Byron series, and standalone thrillers, with box sets also listed. If you're following a particular series, the "Books in Order & Excerpts" pages are the quickest way to see what exists and what's next — useful if you want to catch up before a new instalment lands.
