How to Join the Interlude Community and Send Feedback

Updated

The two official channels are the Discord server and the project's GitHub page. The site's own wording is that Interlude "can only grow to its full potential with your help," and that "the best way to help out is to join the community and suggest new features or improvements." Both links appear on the YAVSRG home page: a "Join the Discord" button and a "Follow on GitHub" link.

Join the Discord

This is the channel the site points to first for community participation and feature suggestions.

  1. Open yavsrg.net.
  2. Find the "Join the Discord" button. It appears twice on the page — once in the main button row near "Play now," and again in the footer area next to "Play now."
  3. Follow the invite to the server.

Expected result: you land in the Interlude community server, where you can talk to other players and post suggestions. The site does not describe channel names, roles, or verification steps, so treat anything beyond the invite itself as unknown until you see it.

Follow or contribute on GitHub

The footer link "Follow on GitHub" goes to the project's repository under Percyqaz. Use this if you want to watch release activity rather than chat.

  • Following the repo gives you a feed of commits and releases without joining a chat platform.
  • The site frames GitHub as a way to follow the project; it does not state that issues or pull requests are the official feedback route, so if you want to file something, confirm the repo's own contribution guidelines first.

Which channel to use

Goal Better fit Why
Suggest a new feature or improvement Discord The site explicitly ties feature suggestions to joining the community
Ask other players for help or opinions Discord It is the community space the site advertises
Track releases and code changes quietly GitHub Follow works without participating in chat
Report a bug Not specified The site names no bug tracker; check the Discord or the repo for the current process

Before you post

  • Check the current version first. The site lists the latest release as 0.7.28.4 (14-07-2026) and notes the game is "currently in open beta," so features and behavior can shift between builds. A suggestion written against an old version may already be addressed.
  • Search before posting a feature idea. The site's stated goal is new features and improvements, which implies the community already collects them; a duplicate is easy to miss otherwise.
  • Keep suggestions concrete. Because Interlude exposes rulesets, hit windows, noteskins, and HUD editing, a request that names the specific mechanic or screen you mean is more actionable than a general one.

What you get from participating

The site presents community involvement as the main lever on the game's direction rather than a support channel. If your interest is shaping what gets built, Discord is the route the developers themselves point to. If your interest is only staying informed, following on GitHub covers that with less noise.
