How to Log In to the AOA Website with Your New Credentials
Updated
The AOA has moved its websites to a new login system, so credentials you used before may no longer work. To sign in, enter the email address associated with your AOA account as your username, and set up a new password by clicking "Forgot password?" on the login page. If you have not yet created new credentials, you need to complete that password setup step first — your old password will not carry over.
What counts as your username
Your username is the email address tied to your AOA account. Use the same email the AOA has on file for you rather than a member ID or a newly created address, since the login is matched against your existing account record.
If you are unsure which email is on file, that is the point to contact the AOA Member Resource Center rather than guessing — a mismatched email is the most likely reason a reset attempt goes nowhere.
Setting up your new password
- Go to the AOA login page.
- Click "Forgot password?"
- Follow the prompts to establish your new password.
- Return to the login page and sign in with your email address plus the password you just created.
The expected result is a working login on the AOA's websites. If the reset email does not arrive, check the inbox for the address you believe is on file, including spam or filtered folders, before trying again.
If you get stuck
Contact the AOA Member Resource Center with your question. This is the route the AOA itself points members to for login problems, and it is the right step when:
- You do not know which email address is associated with your account.
- The password reset does not reach you.
- You have set a new password but still cannot sign in.
Quick reference
| Step | What to enter or do |
|---|---|
| Username | The email address associated with your AOA account |
| Password | Set it yourself via "Forgot password?" on the login page |
| First-time setup | Complete the password setup before attempting to log in |
| Help | AOA Member Resource Center |
The key thing to remember: this is a new login system, so treat it as a fresh setup rather than a password you already know.
