How to Navigate Andrea Stajan-Ferkul's Fine Art Website

Updated

The site is a small artist portfolio organized around a single top navigation bar. From the homepage you can reach six sections: HOME, ABOUT, GALLERIES (split into PAINTINGS and WORKS ON PAPER), NEWS & EVENTS, and CONTACT. If you want artwork, go to GALLERIES; if you want background on the artist, go to ABOUT; if you want to get in touch, go to CONTACT.

The two gallery categories

GALLERIES is the only menu item that opens into sub-sections, and the split matters:

  • PAINTINGS — the painting body of work.
  • WORKS ON PAPER — pieces on paper, a separate medium category rather than a subset of the paintings.

If you are looking for a specific piece, decide first which of these two media it belongs to, then browse within that section. The navigation does not offer a search or filter, so the medium is your main way of narrowing things down.

Finding artist background and updates

  • ABOUT holds the artist introduction. Check this before CONTACT if your question is about the artist's practice rather than a specific work.
  • NEWS & EVENTS is where exhibition and news items sit. Visit it if you want to know what is currently showing or happening, rather than what is in the permanent portfolio.

Contacting the studio

CONTACT is the single entry point for inquiries. The site itself does not publish pricing, purchase terms, or login details, so any question about availability, price, or acquiring a work has to go through this page rather than being answered by the navigation.

Common navigation snags

  • Looking for a painting under WORKS ON PAPER (or the reverse). The two are parallel categories, not nested. If a piece isn't where you expect, switch to the other gallery.
  • Expecting a shop or cart. There is none in the navigation; the site routes interest through CONTACT instead.
  • Hunting for a sitemap or search box. Neither appears in the menu — the six top-level items are the whole structure.
