How to Navigate michelf.ca: Apps, Blog, Store, and Contact
Updated
michelf.ca is the personal site of Michel Fortin, a developer of Mac and iOS apps. The homepage is a single hub that links to his app pages, blog, store, and contact channels. Use the sections below to go straight to what you need.
Finding Apps
The homepage lists the apps directly, each with a short tagline:
| App | Tagline on site |
|---|---|
| Counterparts Lite | The classy string table editor |
| Black Light | Color effects on a schedule |
| Gamma Control | Calibrate your screen |
Additional app links appear in the footer under "Apps": Gamma Control, Gamma Board, Black Light, Scenica, Counterparts Lite, Sim Daltonism, and Red Stripe (with a "more..." link). Select any app name to reach its page.
Reading the Blog
Blog entries are surfaced on the homepage with titles and dates, for example:
- "Introducing Black Light 3" — December 15, 2023
- "Brighter than White — EDR on Macs" — December 5, 2020
- "macOS Big Sur and M1 Macs" — November 11
- "Sim Daltonism's purple bug" — June 19
- "More Hot Keys in Black Light Pro" — February 13
For older posts, use the "Blog" or "Blog Archive" links in the navigation and footer.
Store and App Store Links
The "Store" link in the navigation leads to the store section. The footer's "Store" area lists "Trials," "Lost Codes," and an "App Store →" link, which takes you to Michel Fortin's App Store listings. A "Github →" link under "Miscellaneous" points to his public code.
Contacting Michel Fortin
The "Contact" link appears in both the top navigation and the footer. The contact section lists these channels:
- Email — direct contact address
- Mastodon — social profile link
- GitHub — code repositories
- RSS — subscribe to blog updates
Other Footer Resources
The footer also includes "Media Kits" and a "Privacy Policy" link, plus a French version of the page ("Voir cette page en Français"). The copyright line reads "© 2003–2026 Michel Fortin."
