How to Order an Autographed Book from Joanne Rocklin

Updated

You can request an autographed copy of Joanne Rocklin's books by placing your order and noting the request in the comments form, or by calling 510-339-8210. The site's welcome page states this directly: "When ordering autographed books, just indicate in the comments form that you'd like your book autographed, or call 510-339-8210." No pricing, payment methods, or ordering platform are specified on the page, so those details come from wherever you place the order.

What the Site Tells You

The instruction appears on the homepage under the mention of Rocklin's newest picture book, Good Guys, Bad Guys, illustrated by Nancy Carpenter. Two paths are offered:

  • Online order with a comment: Use the comments form during checkout to state that you want the book autographed.
  • Phone: Call 510-339-8210 to arrange an autographed order.

The page does not name a specific retailer, cart system, or payment processor, and it lists no prices. Treat the phone number and the comments-form instruction as the only confirmed steps from the source.

Steps to Request an Autograph

  1. Choose the title you want. The site organizes books under Novels and Early Readers & Picture Books, with Good Guys, Bad Guys highlighted as the newest picture book.
  2. Place your order through the ordering channel you're using.
  3. In the comments form, write that you would like the book autographed. Be specific about the inscription if you want one.
  4. If you prefer not to order online, call 510-339-8210 instead and request the autographed copy by phone.

Expected result: Your request reaches the author or seller with the autograph note attached, so the book can be signed before it ships.

Common Snags

  • No comment field available: If your checkout has no comments form, the phone number is the stated fallback.
  • Assuming the site sells directly: The page gives ordering instructions but doesn't present a storefront, prices, or payment options. Confirm those with the seller you use.
  • Timing: Autographed copies usually need extra handling time. The page doesn't state a turnaround, so ask when you order.
