The site does not list prices for the full-length books, so check Amazon or your local nursery for current pricing and availability.

Books by Bob Tanem

Bob Tanem wrote several gardening books, all focused on Northern California growing conditions:

  • Annuals for Northern California
  • Perennials for Northern California
  • Trees and Shrubs for Northern California
  • Gardening Month by Month in Northern California

These titles are available through Amazon and at some local nurseries. The website does not state prices or stock for these books, so confirm both at the point of purchase.

Deer Resistant Planting Guide

This is a booklet, not a full-length book — a guide list for choosing plants for your garden that are deer "resistant." It is ordered directly by mail rather than through a store.

Steps to order:

  1. Write a check for $5.45 payable to Edie Tanem.
  2. Mail it to: Edie Tanem, 130 N. San Pedro Rd, San Rafael, CA 94903.
  3. If you need wholesale pricing instead of a single copy, email [email protected] before mailing a check.

There is no online order form or payment link for this booklet on the site — mail is the only ordering method given.

Contacting Edie Tanem

Email [email protected] for comments, suggestions, or wholesale pricing questions. The site asks that you put "Garden" in the subject line so the message is routed correctly.
