How to Play Today's or Past Puzzles on MinCalc
Updated
MinCalc hosts five daily puzzle games, and you can start playing right away without creating an account. The homepage shows today's puzzles with a "Play today" link for each game, and a Today / Past games toggle plus a calendar lets you jump back to any previous day's puzzles.
What you'll find on the homepage
When you open MinCalc, the main page lists all five games with today's puzzle number and a short description:
| Game | Tagline | What it involves |
|---|---|---|
| Targle | "The number is given. The equation isn't." | Build an equation from given numbers and operators to reach a target |
| Sumrex | "Six digits, six rules, one sum." | Apply six rules to six digits to reach a single sum |
| Quackle | "Flock in the pond, gap at the shore." | A duck-themed logic puzzle |
| Toadle | "Score the word. One number at a time." | Word scoring, one number at a time |
| Peerkle | "Eight rungs. One order. Five tries." | Order eight rungs in five tries |
Each game shows a puzzle number (for example, #167) and a Play today → link.
Playing today's puzzle
- Open mincalc.com.
- Find the game you want in the list.
- Click Play today → next to that game.
- Solve the puzzle in the browser — no sign-up, no login.
The site describes the format as "two minutes a day," so each puzzle is designed to be short.
Playing a past puzzle
MinCalc keeps a history of previous puzzles, so you can catch up on any day you missed.
- On the homepage, use the Today / Past games toggle to switch views.
- Use the calendar to select the date you want.
- Pick the game for that date and start playing.
The homepage also shows a ‹ Today › control, which lets you step backward and forward through days directly from the main view.
Common questions
Do I need an account? No. The site states "No accounts," so you can play any puzzle without registering.
Can I play more than one game per day? Yes — all five games (Targle, Sumrex, Quackle, Toadle, Peerkle) each have their own daily puzzle, and you can play each one.
Can I replay a puzzle I already finished? The calendar and Past games view let you navigate to any past date, so you can revisit earlier puzzles.
What if I miss a day? Nothing is lost — past puzzles stay available through the calendar, so you can work through them at your own pace.
