How to Register for the Akron Soccer League 2026 Fall House League
Updated
Registration for the 2026 Fall House League is open now. The season runs August 16 – September 26 (6 weeks), costs $55, and is open to players ages 5–15. Games are played Saturday mornings, with weeknight practices scheduled by each coach, and everything takes place at the Akron Falls Sports Complex on Skyline Drive. If your child falls in that age range and your family can commit to weekday practices plus Saturday games, this is the program to sign up for.
What you're signing up for
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Program | House Soccer (recreational league) |
| Ages | 5–15 |
| Season dates | August 16 – September 26 |
| Season length | 6 weeks |
| Cost | $55 |
| Games | Saturday mornings |
| Practices | Weeknight, time and day set by each coach |
| Location | Akron Falls Sports Complex, Skyline Drive |
A few things worth knowing before you register:
- Practices aren't fixed by the league. Each coach sets the weeknight practice schedule, so you won't know the exact practice day until teams are formed and coaches are assigned. If your family has limited weeknight availability, plan to raise it with the coach early.
- House League is the entry level. The club describes Travel Soccer as "the next level of soccer after our House League," aimed at players 8–19. House League is the right fit for kids who want to play recreationally rather than try out for a travel squad.
- Younger siblings have a separate option. First Kicks Academy is a free program for 3 and 4 year olds that runs May through June — it does not cover the fall season, so a 3- or 4-year-old isn't eligible for Fall House League.
How to register
- Go to akronsoccerleague.com.
- Look for the registration notice on the homepage — the site currently shows "Registration is Now Open For: 2026 Fall House League, August 16 – September 26" — and follow it to the registration page.
- Complete the player registration form with your child's details and your contact information.
- Pay the $55 registration fee through the checkout process.
- Watch for confirmation and for team/coach communication before the season starts, since your practice schedule comes from the coach rather than the league.
To verify your registration worked: you should receive a confirmation after submitting and paying. If the season start is close and you haven't heard anything about a team or coach, follow up with the club directly rather than assuming you're placed.
Common snags
- Age eligibility. Confirm your child is within 5–15 before registering. Players outside that range need a different program (First Kicks for 3–4, Travel for competitive players 8–19).
- Practice conflicts. Because practice times are coach-determined, a conflict with another activity can't be resolved at registration. Ask about it as soon as you're contacted by the coach.
- Deadline pressure. The site lists the season dates but not a registration cutoff, so registering early avoids being left out if teams fill. Check the site for any posted deadline before assuming you can sign up late.
- Equipment. The club has run a partnership event with DICK'S Sporting Goods offering members 20% off, but that promotion was dated April 24–27, 2026 and is not a current fall-season discount — don't count on it at checkout.
If House League isn't the right fit
- Child is 3–4: First Kicks Academy (free, May–June) is the entry point, not Fall House League.
- Child is 8–19 and ready for competitive play: look at ASC Travel Soccer, which the club positions as the level after House League.
- You want a different season: House League runs two seasons a year — spring (May–June) and fall (September) — so spring registration is the alternative if fall doesn't work for your schedule.
