EnglishHow to Shop the Official BYU Store Online
Updated
The official BYU Store online shop is at byustore.com, operated under the name "The BYU Store®." It is the licensed source for BYU Cougars apparel and fan merchandise, and it also sells textbooks and religious study materials. Use it when you want officially licensed gear, course textbooks, or BYU-branded gifts in one order. The site requires JavaScript to be enabled in your browser; if it is disabled, pages will not display properly.
Confirm you are on the official store
Check the address bar for byustore.com and look for "The BYU Store®" branding in the header. The homepage describes the store as "your exclusive source for licensed apparel," which is the clearest signal that you are on the official shop rather than a third-party reseller.
Browse by category
The main navigation splits merchandise into a few large groups. Use these to narrow down quickly:
| Category | What you'll find |
|---|---|
| BYU Apparel | Men's, women's, and youth sections, each with t-shirts, polos and dress shirts, jerseys, crews and hoodies, jackets, shorts and pants, footwear, hats, ties, and accessories |
| BYU Hats | Men's, women's, and youth hats, plus beanies, sports program hats, flat bill hats, fitted hats, and baseball hats |
| BYU T-Shirts | Men's, women's, and youth tees, plus long sleeve shirts |
| BYU Crews & Hoodies | Sweatshirts and hoodies for men, women, and youth |
| BYU Jerseys | Basketball, football, and baseball jerseys in men's, women's, and youth fits |
| BYU ꭗ Series | Collaborations such as BYU ꭗ Nike, BYU ꭗ lululemon, BYU ꭗ House of Royal, BYU ꭗ AndersonOrd, and BYU ꭗ Albion Fit |
| BYU Accessories | Souvenirs, decals and stickers, sports equipment, home and office items, backpacks and bags, blankets, jewelry and watches, toys, flags, graduation items, drinkware, keychains, car accessories, and campus photography |
| Religious | Come Follow Me study aids, Old Testament materials, and scriptures |
| Textbooks | Course textbooks via the "Buy Textbooks" section |
If you already know the fit you need, start with the men's, women's, or youth landing page and then filter down to the item type. For gifts, the Exclusives / Treats section lists gift cards, fudge, sweets, gift bags, and Cougar Crunch.
Create an account or check out as a guest
The header includes Login and Register links, and a cart icon showing your current item count. Registering lets you keep order history and account details in one place; the cart works whether or not you log in first. Add items to the cart, then review the cart before checkout to confirm sizes, quantities, and the full order total.
Check shipping promotions before you pay
The site banner advertises free shipping on orders of $75 or more with promo code 75SHIP, with a "see details" link for the full terms. Two practical points:
- The promotion depends on a promo code, so enter 75SHIP in the promo field during checkout rather than assuming the discount applies automatically.
- Read the details link for exclusions, since promo terms often limit which items or destinations qualify.
The site does not publish general price levels in the material available, so compare item prices on the product pages themselves before ordering.
Order textbooks separately from fan gear
Textbooks have their own section under "Buy Textbooks." Because textbook availability and timing follow the academic term, place textbook orders with enough lead time before classes start, and treat them as a separate task from buying apparel even if you combine everything in one cart.
Get help with an order
The footer navigation includes Contact, My Account, and Customer Service links. Use Customer Service for questions about shipping, returns, or promo codes, and My Account to look up past orders. If a page fails to load, first confirm JavaScript is enabled in your browser, since the store states that the site requires it.
