How to Use the Scripts on Hare

Updated

Hare (hare.kractero.com) is a browser-based hub for NationStates scripts: you pick a tool from its home page, open it, and run it from the site rather than installing each script yourself. It suits players who want quick access to issue-answering, card, puppet-management, and regional tools in one place. Before relying on any output, check the tool's own notes, since some generate sheets or files designed to work with separate userscripts.

What Hare Is and How It Is Organized

Hare describes itself as "a central location for NationStates scripts." The home page lists each tool with an icon, a name, and a one-line description of what it does. The page also exposes a Settings area containing an Open config option and a Toggle theme control, so you can adjust configuration and appearance from the main interface.

The tools are split into two groups: Scripts and Non-Scripts. Scripts are the interactive utilities; Non-Scripts are reference and lookup pages.

The Non-Scripts

  • Legendary Tracker — view legendaries and whether they are CTE (ceased to exist).
  • Kee (Queries) — query cards from all seasons based on certain parameters.
  • Bazaar — view historical trade information dating back to April 1st, 2018.
  • Ledger — data and statistics for the top 100 nations.

How to Run a Script

  1. Open hare.kractero.com in your browser.
  2. Find the tool you need in the Scripts list and open it.
  3. Provide the input the tool asks for. The descriptions indicate the expected input: for example, Endotart and Not Endorsing take a nation name, Finder takes nations and cards, Signal takes card IDs, and Transfer takes a bank threshold.
  4. Run the tool and read the output. Some tools return information directly (Gold Retriever, Whos Farmin, Where's My WA); others produce a sheet or file (Login Sheet, Creation Assistant, RCES, Glasses, Deck to IDs, Transfer, Sheetify).

Expected result: you get either an on-page answer or a generated sheet/file you can use elsewhere.

Setup and Configuration Notes

  • Use Settings → Open config to review or change the site's configuration before running tools.
  • Use Toggle theme if you prefer a different display mode.
  • Several tools explicitly produce output "for use with the provided userscripts" or "with Containerise." Treat those outputs as inputs to a separate userscript workflow rather than as finished results inside Hare.
  • Rarity is labeled as a prediction and "not official," so treat its output as an estimate.

Common Sticking Points

  • Assuming everything runs in-page. Sheet- and file-generating tools (Login Sheet, Creation Assistant, RCES, Glasses, Deck to IDs, Transfer, Sheetify) hand you something to use elsewhere.
  • Wrong input format. Tools that ask for a nation or card IDs expect exactly that; check the tool's description before submitting.
  • Expecting official data from predictions. Rarity and Forecaster are estimates, and Rarity is explicitly non-official.
  • Missing the config step. If a tool behaves unexpectedly, check Settings → Open config first.

The site footer lists a 2026.10.14 date along with Discord and GitHub links, which are the places to look for updates or help if a tool does not behave as described.
