Visiting in Person

Asbury Church is a congregation of the Global Methodist Church. If you are planning a first visit, here is what you need to know:

  • Address: 2801 W 15th Street, Wichita, KS 67203, US
  • Worship times: Sundays at 8:00am and 10:30am
  • Directions: The website provides a "Get directions" link to help you navigate to the campus

The church invites newcomers to fill out a Connect Card, which lets the staff know more about you and any questions you may have. This is optional but useful if you want someone to follow up with you.

Contacting the Church

Asbury Church offers several ways to get in touch, depending on what you need:

Method Details Best for
Phone (316) 942-1491 General questions, immediate inquiries
Fax (316) 942-9895 Formal documents or written correspondence

The website contact form asks for your name and email, then lets you send a comment, question, or prayer request. It is protected by reCAPTCHA, so you will need to complete that verification before submitting.

Participating Online

If you cannot attend in person, Asbury Church streams its services online. The site states that worship is available "in-person or online by clicking below" with a "Watch Now!" option. This means you can join either the 8:00am or 10:30am Sunday service remotely through the LiveStream.

Beyond worship, the website lists several online resources:

  • RightNow Media – a digital library of video content
  • Devotionals – written reflections for personal study
  • Sermons/Watch – recorded or live teaching
  • Prayer Request Lists – submit a request or pray for others' requests

Getting Involved Beyond Sunday

If you are looking for ways to connect, the church organizes its ministries into several groups:

  • Asbury Kids – children's programming
  • Asbury Youth – middle and high school ministry
  • Adults at Asbury – adult groups and classes
  • Missions – outreach and service opportunities
  • Community Garden – a local gardening initiative

The website also has an Events page for upcoming activities and a Realm portal, which appears to be the church's member management system for giving, groups, and communication. If you want to explore these, start with the Connect Card or contact the church office directly.

Preschool and Other Questions

The site description mentions a preschool, so if you are looking for early childhood education, that is another reason to reach out. The best first step is to call (316) 942-1491 or use the website contact form to ask about preschool enrollment, availability, and requirements.

For general questions about beliefs, mission, or staff, the website has dedicated pages for Beliefs, Mission & Vision, and Staff & Jobs. These give you background before you visit or reach out.
