Is Breath Ball Free to Download?

Updated

Yes. Breath Ball is presented on its own site as free of charge, with the call to action “Download Breath Ball For Free Now.” The page shows no pricing links, subscription tiers, or payment platforms, so there is nothing on the site indicating a paid plan or a required purchase before you can start using the breathing exercises.

What “free” covers on the page

The site describes the app as providing breathing techniques to manage stress and improve performance, and states it is “Free of charge. Just see for yourself.” The exercises listed — stress relief, catching your breath, relaxation, and the 4:7:8 technique for sleeplessness — are presented as part of the app, each with a short tutorial that gets you started in under three minutes. You can also add your own breathing exercises.

The HRV (heart rate variability) analytics feature is described as “now built into Breath Ball,” with metrics such as RMSSD, SDNN, pNN50, and LF/HF Ratio. The page does not attach a price or subscription requirement to that feature either.

How to get it

  1. Go to breathball.com.
  2. Use the download prompt on the page (“Download Breath Ball For Free Now”).
  3. Open the app and pick an exercise, or follow the three-step rhythm described: inhale deeply into your belly while the ball grows, hold while it stays the same size, and exhale while it shrinks.

The page says a session takes only a few minutes and that after three minutes you may notice deep relaxation and inner calm.

What to keep in mind

  • The free claim comes from the app’s own website. The page does not list any in-app purchases, so if any exist, they are not disclosed there.
  • No login requirement is mentioned on the page, so it does not say whether an account is needed.
  • The HRV metrics are described as built-in, but the page does not explain whether they require a compatible device or sensor. If you want HRV data, check the app store listing or the app itself for device requirements.

If your only question is whether you can download and try Breath Ball without paying, the site’s own wording answers it: download is free.
