Is the Empire Earth Series on Steam? What HeavenGames Reported

Updated

Yes — HeavenGames' Empire Earth Heaven sub-site reported that the entire Empire Earth series had been released on Steam for the first time. The post, dated May 29, 2026 and written by Philla007, names three titles: Empire Earth: Gold Edition, Empire Earth II: Gold Edition, and Empire Earth III. Treat this as a community news report rather than a store listing, and confirm current availability, pricing, and regional restrictions on Steam itself before buying.

What the HeavenGames post actually says

The item appears in the site's news feed under the Empire Earth Heaven section. Its key claims:

  • The series arrived on Steam "for the first time ever."
  • The three editions listed are Empire Earth: Gold Edition, Empire Earth II: Gold Edition, and Empire Earth III.
  • The post frames this as "big news for all Empire Earth fans."

The excerpt cuts off mid-sentence after listing the titles, so any additional details — bundle contents, pricing, release timing, or platform requirements — are not visible in the available material.

Why you should verify on Steam before purchasing

HeavenGames is a long-running fan community hub, not a retailer or publisher. Its news posts are written by community members, which makes them useful for spotting announcements but not authoritative for purchase decisions. Specific things to check on the Steam store pages:

What to confirm Why it matters
Individual store pages exist for each title Confirms the release is live, not just announced
Price and any bundle discount The HeavenGames post mentions no pricing
Regional availability Store catalogs differ by country
System requirements Older titles may need compatibility checks on modern hardware
Whether "Gold Edition" contents match your expectations Edition contents are defined by the publisher, not the news post

Context: what else HeavenGames covers

The same news feed shows the site is active across several classic real-time strategy communities, which helps explain why an Empire Earth Steam release would be posted there:

  • Age of Empires Heaven — site revamp and migration notes (June 14, 2026)
  • Age of Kings Heaven — Blacksmith feature on Age of Kings history, plus a May 2026 update
  • Age of Mythology Heaven — coverage of The Obsidian Mirror, a Retold expansion with an Aztec pantheon (April 2026)
  • Stronghold 2 Heaven — community reopening after dormancy (February 2026)

If you follow any of these series, the Empire Earth Heaven section is where similar release news for that franchise would appear.

Bottom line

HeavenGames reported that Empire Earth: Gold Edition, Empire Earth II: Gold Edition, and Empire Earth III are all on Steam. That report is a reasonable starting signal, but it is a community post — check the Steam store pages directly for price, availability in your region, and edition contents before you buy.
