About the Church and School

Redeemer Lutheran Church was organized in 1955 and is part of the LCMS (Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod). It describes its mission as preparing, equipping, and motivating adults and children to serve God while leading others to know and love Jesus Christ, and it serves both locally and globally through a variety of ministries.

The school has operated since 1978 and serves students from preschool through eighth grade. It states that it admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students, and that it does not discriminate on those bases in its educational policies, admission policies, loan programs, or athletic and other school-administered programs.

One detail worth noting for families: the school states that parentally placed private school students with a disability do not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education–related services they would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.
