Updated

Bullcreek Leeming Scouts runs five age-based sections, from Joey Scouts (ages 5–8) through to Rovers (ages 18–25). Each section meets on a different weekday evening at the Scott Scout Hall in Bob Gordon Reserve, Bullcreek. If you are choosing a section for a child or young person, the table below shows the age range and meeting slot for each one.

Age sections and meeting times

The group has been operating since 1984 and currently has about 75 boy and girl members across the Joey, Cub, Scout, Venturer and Rover sections.

Where meetings are held

All sections meet at the Scott Scout Hall in the Bob Gordon Reserve, Costello Place, off Benningfield Road in Bullcreek. The hall is named after Tony Scott, who served as Group Leader for 19 years.

How to work out which section fits

  • Match the age first. Sections are organised by age band, so start with the age of the child or young person and find the corresponding row in the table.
  • Check the evening. Note that Joeys and Scouts both meet on Wednesday but at different times, while Cubs, Venturers and Rovers each have their own weekday.
  • Confirm before attending. Meeting details can change, so it is worth checking with the relevant leader before turning up for the first time.
