What Are the Non-Scripts Resources on Hare?

Updated

The Non-Scripts section of Hare (hare.kractero.com) is a set of four reference and data tools that you use directly in the browser rather than running as scripts against your nations. They are Legendary Tracker, Kee (Queries), Bazaar, and Ledger. Use them when you want to look something up—card history, legendary status, or top-nation statistics—instead of automating an action like answering issues or pinging puppets.

What each Non-Script resource does

Resource What it gives you When it is the right tool
🗓️ Legendary Tracker A view of legendaries and whether each one is CTE (ceased to exist) Checking the current status of legendary nations before trading, collecting, or referencing them
✍️ Kee (Queries) Card queries across all seasons based on parameters you set Finding cards that match specific criteria when you don't already have card IDs
🏛️ Bazaar Historical trade information dating back to April 1st, 2018 Looking at how a card or market has traded over time rather than at a single snapshot
📒 Ledger Data and statistics for the top 100 nations Reviewing ranked nation data and statistics in one place

How Non-Scripts differ from the scripts

The scripts on Hare are described as tools for executing NationStates tasks—for example, gotIssues for answering issues, JunkDaJunk for junking cards with configurable rules, Pinger for pinging nations, or Transfer for producing a list of puppets above a bank threshold. They take an input, act on your nations, and produce an output such as a sheet, a text file, or a completed action.

The Non-Scripts are lookups. You open them, set whatever parameters they accept, and read the result. Nothing is executed against your puppets, so there is no output file to import elsewhere. The practical split:

  • Need to do something to your nations or cards? Use a script.
  • Need to know something before you decide? Use a Non-Script.

A typical combined workflow: use Kee (Queries) to find candidate cards by parameters, check Bazaar for their trade history, then move to a script such as Signal or Transfer to act on what you found.

Practical notes

  • Bazaar's history starts April 1st, 2018. Anything earlier is outside what the tool covers, so don't treat a missing early record as an error.
  • Legendary Tracker is a status check, not a ranking. Its stated purpose is showing legendaries and whether they are CTE; it does not claim to be an official rarity source. For rarity estimates, Hare lists the separate Rarity script and notes that it is not official.
  • Kee queries by parameters across seasons. If you already have card IDs, the script-side tools (Signal, Deck to IDs) are the better fit; Kee is for when you are searching rather than confirming.
  • Ledger is scoped to the top 100 nations. It is a statistics view for that group, not a full-site census.

Where to start

Open hare.kractero.com and look under the Non-Scripts heading, below the main script list. Each entry is a single link, so there is no setup step beyond opening it. If you are unsure which of the four you need, start from the question you are asking: legendary status → Legendary Tracker; card search by criteria → Kee; price and trade history → Bazaar; top-nation statistics → Ledger.
