Planning Your First Visit

If you are visiting for the first time, the Sunday schedule gives you two connected options:

• Attend both hours. Arrive by 9:15 AM for Sunday School, then stay for the 10:30 AM Worship Service. This is the fullest picture of a Sunday morning at the church.
• Attend the Worship Service only. Arrive a few minutes before 10:30 AM if you can only make the main service.

For Wednesday nights, note the staggered start: the doors for kids and students open at 5:15 PM, but the session itself runs 6:00–7:15 PM. Adults meet over the same 6:00–7:15 PM window, so families can attend in the same block of time.

Confirming Times Before You Go

Service times can change around holidays, weather, or special events. Before a first visit — especially on a Wednesday or a holiday weekend — check the current information on firstlavaca.com, where the site lists service times alongside upcoming events and the latest sermon content. The homepage also includes an "I'm New" section and a "Get Plugged In" path if you want to learn about groups and next steps beyond the weekly schedule.
