What Astrophotography Gear Is Available at telescopes.net?

telescopes.net (Woodland Hills Camera & Telescopes) lists astrophotography gear across four main categories: mounts and trackers, control and focusing accessories, optical tubes, and filters. The listings below come from the site's current "NEW ARRIVALS!" and "IN STOCK AND ON SALE" sections, so stock status and price are shown as displayed. Most astronomy items note "Free Shipping Available," with at least one exception (the iOptron HST MiniTracker), and many items are marked "Pre-Order" or "More On The Way" rather than in stock.

Mounts and Trackers

These are the foundation of an astrophotography rig — they carry the payload and track the sky.

The WarpAstron harmonic mount heads are the highest-priced items in this group and the only mounts shown as In Stock. If you need a mount now rather than waiting on a pre-order, these are the ones to look at. The two iOptron trackers are lighter-duty and lower-cost, but both are listed as "More On The Way," and the HST MiniTracker is the one item here flagged as not qualifying for free shipping.

Control and Focusing Accessories

These handle imaging control and focus, which matter once your mount and optics are set.

Both are Pre-Order, so plan for a wait. The SynLink is described as a universal astroimaging controller; the Askar WAF is a focuser. If your setup already includes a controller or focuser, you can skip this category.

Optical Tubes

These are the scopes that collect light for imaging.

The Mighty Cat 71 is a limited-edition item and is In Stock; the Askar N210 is also In Stock. The Skymax 200DX and Evostar EDX 120 are Pre-Order. Note the design differences: the Askar N210 is a fast f/3.6 Newtonian, the Skymax 200DX is a Maksutov-Cassegrain, and the Evostar EDX 120 is an APO doublet refractor — each suits different imaging goals, so match the tube to your target and mount capacity rather than price alone.

Smart Telescopes (All-in-One Alternative)

If you'd rather not build a modular rig, the site also lists all-in-one smart telescopes, which combine optics, mount, and camera.

All five are Pre-Order or "More On The Way" — none are shown In Stock. The SHO version of the Draco is the higher-priced variant of that model.

Filters and Other Accessories

The "IN STOCK AND ON SALE" section lists filters and lighting, including:

• Hoya 58mm HD3 Circular Polarizer Filter — $114.99, SKU HY-XHD3-58CRPL, In Stock, Free Shipping Available
• Hoya 62mm HD3 Circular Polarizer Filter — $129.99, SKU HY-XHD3-62CRPL, In Stock, Free Shipping Available
• Hoya 62mm Variable Neutral Density Filter — $165.00, SKU HY-A-62VDY, In Stock, Free Shipping Available

The site also references studio lighting and camera lenses as part of its broader catalog, and lists a Canon Speedlite EL-5 (Version 2) at $379.00 (SKU CA-7327C002, Pre-Order, Free Shipping Available).

How to Decide

• Need gear now: Filter by In Stock. The WarpAstron mounts, Askar N210, William Optics Mighty Cat 71, and Hoya filters are the items shown as In Stock.
• Building a modular rig: Pair a mount (WarpAstron or iOptron) with a control/focus accessory (SynLink, WAF Focuser) and an optical tube (Askar, Sky-Watcher, William Optics).
• Want a simpler setup: The smart telescopes bundle everything, but all are Pre-Order or "More On The Way."
• Watch shipping: Most items say "Free Shipping Available," but the iOptron HST MiniTracker explicitly does not qualify.

Prices, SKUs, and stock labels above are as listed on the site at the time of this snapshot; confirm current status on each product page before ordering, since Pre-Order and "More On The Way" items can change.
