What Athletics Information Is on the Batten University Athletics Site?

Updated

The Batten University athletics site (battenathletics.com) is the official athletics website for the university. Based on its navigation, it organizes content into four main areas: Stories, Events, Facilities, and Awards. If you want team news, the competition schedule, venue information, or honors, those four sections are where to look.

What Each Section Covers

Section What you'll find When to use it
Stories Team and athlete news, feature coverage Following a team's season or reading about individual athletes
Events Game and event schedules Checking when and where a team competes
Facilities Descriptions of athletics venues and facilities Planning a visit or learning about where teams play
Awards Honors and recognition Confirming past achievements or award recipients

Stories

This is the news side of the site. It covers team developments and athlete features, making it the place to start if you want narrative coverage rather than raw schedules or results.

Events

The Events section carries the competition calendar. Use it to find upcoming games and event listings rather than searching news posts for dates.

Facilities

Facilities introduces the athletics venues. This is useful for visitors and prospective students who want to know what the sports infrastructure looks like before arriving on campus.

Awards

Awards collects honors and recognition. It's the reference section for verifying which teams or athletes have been recognized, rather than a live news feed.

Practical Notes

  • The site is labeled as the official athletics website, so it is the primary source for university athletics information rather than a third-party aggregator.
  • The navigation also includes a main menu and social links, which typically lead to further content and updates beyond the four core sections.
  • The site does not publish pricing information; any ticketing or access details would need to be confirmed through the Events section or direct contact with the athletics department.

Bottom Line

If you need news, go to Stories; for schedules, go to Events; for venue details, go to Facilities; and for honors, go to Awards. Those four sections define what the Batten University athletics site is built to answer.
