What the Multi-Day Format Means in Practice
A hotel-based convention of this length typically means attendees stay on site or nearby and move between scheduled sessions across several days. The site confirms the dates and venue but does not list individual programme items in the available material, so treat the following as the practical questions to resolve before booking rather than confirmed schedule details:
- Accommodation: The venue is a hotel, so room booking and convention registration are separate steps to confirm on the official site.
- Programme: Sessions, events, and any special guests are announced through the site's news updates; check there for the current list rather than relying on older summaries.
- Travel: Birmingham is reachable by rail and road, and the Hilton Birmingham Metropole is the named venue — confirm access details and any venue-specific guidance on the official pages.
How to Prepare and Verify Details
- Go to confuzzled.org.uk and open the "Latest news" section for current announcements.
- Confirm the dates (28 May – 1 June 2027) and venue (Hilton Birmingham Metropole) against the official listing before making travel plans.
- Check registration and accommodation information on the site, since the available material does not state prices or booking conditions — do not assume any cost or access terms.
- Re-check closer to the event, as programme details are typically updated through news posts.
Common Pitfalls
- Assuming the schedule is fixed: The site excerpt confirms dates and venue but not the full programme; verify specifics through official news rather than secondhand summaries.
- Treating "largest" as a guarantee of capacity: The description is the site's own characterisation; check registration availability directly.
- Overlooking the multi-day span: With dates running 28 May – 1 June 2027, plan accommodation and travel for the full period you intend to attend.
For anything beyond dates, venue, and the convention's general character, the official site's news updates are the reliable source.
