What Basketball Programs Does St Louis Basketball Academy Offer?
Updated
St Louis Basketball Academy (stlbball.com) runs four main basketball offerings: fundamentals training, competitive youth teams, private and small-group skills training, and Jr. NBA league play. The programs are organized primarily by age and competitive level rather than by a single skill track, so the right fit depends on whether your player wants instruction, team competition, or both. Youth teams span 3rd grade through high school, while the Jr. NBA league is limited to players entering grades 4–6.

| Jr. NBA League Play | Players entering grades 4–6 | 5-week session plus combine and All-Star game at Ladue High School |
Fundamentals
This program focuses on core technique: dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. Coaches work with players individually to develop their form and fundamentals. It suits players who are new to structured training or who want to rebuild technique before joining a competitive team.
Youth teams
The academy fields competitive youth teams for all skill levels from 3rd grade through high school. Teams enter leagues and tournaments throughout the year, so the commitment level is higher than a clinic or camp. This is the option for players who want regular game competition and a season-long team environment.
Skills training
Skills training is delivered as private one-on-one sessions or small-group sessions with trainers. Each athlete gets a personalized plan targeting specific goals — for example, improving shooting, ball handling, or defense. This format fits players who want to work on a defined weakness rather than follow a general curriculum.
Jr. NBA league play
The Jr. NBA league is hosted at Ladue High School for players entering grades 4–6. It runs as a 5-week session plus a combine and All-Star game, with two experienced coaches on the court with the kids at all times for one practice and one game each week. Participants receive an NBA or WNBA-style jersey to keep. The session is slated to begin July 7 and run until mid-August, with registration by 6/20/25.
Gym rental
The academy also rents out large and small gyms. Inquiries go to (314) 769-2255.
