What close.morpher.com Is and What It Is Used For
Updated
close.morpher.com is the Morpher page for closing your open Morpher positions on Base during the platform's wind-down. You connect a wallet, view your open positions, and close them at a locked final price. After closing, your MPH becomes freely transferable, so you can move it wherever you want. You pay your own Base ETH gas for each transaction.
Who this page is for
Use this page if you have open Morpher positions on Base and want to settle them before the markets are wound down. If you hold MPH but have no open positions, there is nothing to close here; the relevant change for you is that MPH becomes freely transferable once positions are closed.
What happens when you close a position
The page describes a specific sequence:
- Connect your wallet. The site lists three options: a browser wallet, WalletConnect, or the Morpher Wallet. Connecting is what lets the page see your open positions.
- Review your open positions. Once connected, the page shows the positions you hold.
- Close at a locked final price. Positions are settled at a final price that is locked rather than left to move with the market.
- Pay Base ETH gas. Each transaction is paid by you in Base ETH. Closing more than one position means more than one transaction, so budget gas accordingly.
- MPH becomes freely transferable. After closing, your MPH is no longer restricted and can be moved anywhere.
What you need before you start
- A wallet that holds the positions you want to close, accessible through a browser wallet, WalletConnect, or the Morpher Wallet.
- Base ETH in that wallet to cover gas for each close transaction.
- A clear idea of where you want your MPH to go afterward, since the page only makes it transferable — it does not move it for you.
Common sticking points
- Nothing shows up after connecting. The page only displays positions tied to the connected wallet. If you used a different wallet or address for your Morpher activity, connect that one instead.
- A close transaction fails or stalls. Gas is paid per transaction on Base, so check that the wallet has enough Base ETH before retrying.
- Expecting MPH to move automatically. Closing unlocks transferability; sending MPH elsewhere is a separate step you take yourself.
What this page is not
It is not a trading interface for opening new positions, and it does not describe fees, deposit options, or account requirements beyond connecting a wallet. Treat it as a wind-down tool: connect, close at the locked final price, pay gas, then move your MPH where you want it.
