EnglishWhat Comics Are Available on Giant Robot Club?
Updated
Giant Robot Club (giantrobot.club) hosts three main comic series: Antihero for Hire, ADVENTURERS!!TWO, and ADVENTURERS!. Each has a distinct premise and tone, so the right starting point depends on what you're in the mood for — a superhero satire, an interactive open-world parody, or a classic JRPG send-up.
The Three Comics at a Glance
| Comic | Premise | Tone / Style |
|---|---|---|
| Antihero for Hire | The ongoing encounters of night-time superhero Shadehawk as he battles a baffling rogues gallery | Superhero satire; tagline "Villains thwarted, rock bottom prices" |
| ADVENTURERS!!TWO | Protagonist shakes up a destroyed world; framed around "OPEN WORLD PROBLEMS" | Interactive — the site states "you're there too" |
| ADVENTURERS! | Karn, Ardam, and the rest of the party parody JRPG tropes on a quest to defeat the evil Dark Lord Khrima | Classic JRPG parody; described as "the original classic JRPG comic" |
Antihero for Hire
This is the ongoing series following Shadehawk, a night-time superhero. The site's own description frames it as Shadehawk "battl[ing] against a truly baffling rogues gallery," with the tagline "Villains thwarted, rock bottom prices."
If you like superhero stories that lean into the absurdity of their villains, this is the most straightforward ongoing narrative of the three. It's also the series with the most external reading options — see the "Where to Read" section below.
ADVENTURERS!!TWO
This one is built around a specific hook: "Do you have OPEN WORLD PROBLEMS?" The description says Protagonist "shakes up the destroyed world, one murder at a time," and adds a direct address to the reader — "And I really do mean join her - you're there too."
That second-person framing is the key differentiator. If you want a comic that plays with reader participation and open-world game conventions, start here. It's also the series the site actively promotes for voting on TopWebComics.
ADVENTURERS!
The original in the lineup — "the original classic JRPG comic." It follows Karn, Ardam, and their party as they parody JRPG tropes while questing to defeat the evil Dark Lord Khrima.
Choose this if you want the foundational series and a straightforward party-based JRPG parody. Note the naming: ADVENTURERS! and ADVENTURERS!!TWO are separate series, not volumes of one title.
Where to Read and Follow
