What Commemorative Gear Is Available for the Cincinnati Thanksgiving Day Race?

Updated

The Cincinnati Thanksgiving Day Race offers 2026 commemorative merchandise through its website: a long-sleeved race shirt and a "Cincy Hat." Both are listed under a "Don't Forget Your TDR Gear!" section on the race homepage, with a "Purchase Merch" link as the buying entry point. If you want official race apparel, that section is where to start — the site does not list any other commemorative items.

What the site lists

Item Description as listed Where to buy
2026 Commemorative Thanksgiving Day Race long-sleeved shirt Long-sleeved shirt marking the 2026 race "Purchase Merch" link in the TDR Gear section
Cincy Hat Hat sold alongside the shirt Same "Purchase Merch" link

The homepage presents these two items together in one sentence: "Purchase the 2026 Commemorative Thanksgiving Day Race long-sleeved shirt and Cincy Hat!" No prices, sizes, colors, or shipping details appear in the available site content, so check the merch page itself for those specifics before ordering.

How to get to the merch

  1. Go to thanksgivingdayrace.com.
  2. Find the "Don't Forget Your TDR Gear!" heading.
  3. Follow the "Purchase Merch" link to the merchandise page.
  4. Select your item and complete checkout there.

The site's pricing signals include a "purchase" keyword, confirming that merchandise is sold rather than given away — but the available content does not state prices or accepted payment methods, so treat those as unknown until you reach the checkout page.

Gear vs. registration

Merchandise is separate from race entry. Registration for the 2026 race is handled through a "Register Now" link, while the commemorative shirt and hat sit in their own merch section. Buying gear does not register you for a race, and registering does not automatically include the commemorative items based on what the site shows. If you want both, complete the two steps separately.

What the race itself includes

The 2026 event offers three options, which matters if you're deciding whether commemorative gear is worth adding:

  • Western & Southern 10K — the flagship race
  • TDR 5K — shorter distance
  • ProAmpac Kids Fun Run — for children

After finishing, runners can visit the Pella Recovery Zone, located immediately past the finish line, for snacks, hydration, music, stretching, and photo opportunities. The site also links to previous years' image galleries and results, which can help you gauge the event's scale before committing.

Practical notes

  • The site describes the race as "Cincinnati's favorite family tradition," so the gear is positioned as part of that tradition rather than as performance equipment.
  • No size chart, price, or return policy is visible in the available content — verify these on the merch page before purchasing.
  • If you only want to run, registration alone covers that; the shirt and hat are optional add-ons.
