What Do You Get in a PBNify Custom Paint-by-Number Kit?

Updated

PBNify's complete custom kit includes a 12 × 15-inch printed canvas with your design, up to 60 paint colors matched to that design, and two brushes. It ships from the company's facility in Columbus, Ohio, with tracking. This applies if you've already uploaded a photo, generated a design, and chosen to order the physical kit rather than just downloading the free printable.

What's in the kit

Brushes Two

The paint colors aren't a generic set — they're the exact colors generated for your design, so the palette lines up with the numbered canvas you receive.

What you get for free (before buying)

You don't have to order the kit to get a usable result. After uploading a photo and generating a design, PBNify provides:

  • Paint by number preview — see your photo as a paint-by-number before deciding anything
  • Printable canvas PDF — a numbered design you can print at home for a DIY project
  • Color guide — a matched palette telling you which colors to use

So the free tier covers the design and the reference materials; the paid kit covers the physical canvas, matched paints, and brushes.

How to get to the kit

  1. Upload your photo — drag and drop, or select from your camera roll. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, HEIC, and AVIF, up to 20MB.
  2. Generate the design — the photo converts into a paint-by-number design in a few moments.
  3. Review and edit — you can toggle background removal on or off and choose from multiple crop options. The preview is meant to match what you receive.
  4. Download free or order — download the print-ready PDF, or order the complete kit.

Who this fits

  • Order the kit if you want a ready-to-paint project with the canvas, matched paints, and brushes handled for you, and you'd rather not source materials yourself.
  • Use the free download if you want to print at home and supply your own paints, or if you just want to preview the design before committing.

One thing worth checking before ordering: the design you approve in the preview is what gets printed, so use the crop and background-removal toggles to get it right first.
