What Events, Camps, and Tournaments Does MSI Soccer Host?

Updated

MSI Soccer runs more than seasonal league play. Beyond its Recreation, Classic League, and Travel programs, the club lists camps and clinics, three named tournaments, community events, and several specialized programs. The table below maps what the site currently shows so you can decide where your player fits.

Camps and Clinics

Program Notes from the site
Spring Break Camp Listed under Camps & Clinics
Winter 2025/26 Listed under Camps & Clinics
MINI-Greens (Pre-K) – Fall Entry-level program for the youngest players
Kindergarten Described as a way to "get your little one active and connected"; the site notes Kindergarten Kickstart has open spots for Tuesdays and Sunday Game Day

Camps and clinics are the shortest-commitment option — useful if you want to try the club before a full season, or keep a player active between seasons.

Tournaments

MSI hosts three tournaments:

  • Kick Off Classic
  • Turkey Shoot
  • Cherry Blossom

These are separate from league registration, so check each tournament's own page for dates and entry details rather than assuming they follow the seasonal calendar.

Community and Club Events

The events list includes:

  • Annual Awards
  • Washington Spirit Game Day
  • DC United Game Day
  • Cleat Exchange
  • La Liga Pick-Up Fútbol
  • Soccerfest 2026

The Cleat Exchange is the practical one for families managing gear costs. The pro-game days and Soccerfest are club-wide community events rather than player programming.

Specialized Programs

Alongside the main pathways, MSI lists:

  • MSI Pro
  • MSI Men's
  • MSI Women's
  • Top Soccer

Top Soccer is the notable one if you have a player with disabilities — it appears as a distinct program rather than a variant of Recreation. MSI Pro and the Men's/Women's programs sit outside the youth Recreation-to-Travel ladder.

How to Choose

  • Want a low-commitment trial? Start with a camp, clinic, or MINI-Greens/Kindergarten.
  • Want extra competition without a full Travel commitment? Look at the three tournaments.
  • Need gear or a club-wide outing? Check the Cleat Exchange and event days.
  • Looking for something outside standard youth league play? Review MSI Pro, Men's/Women's, or Top Soccer.

Registration status, dates, and fees are not specified in the source material — confirm those on each program's page or through the club's PlayMetrics resources before planning around a specific session.
