What Faculties and Academic Disciplines Does STMU Offer?

STMU (Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University), Islamabad, is organized into five faculties: Health Sciences; Nursing & Midwifery; Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences; Social Sciences & Humanities; and Computing. If your intended field falls within medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, computing, management, psychology, Islamic studies, education, or law, STMU likely has a relevant department or program. Faculty of Health Sciences

This is the largest faculty by breadth of programs, anchored by Shifa College of Medicine and Shifa College of Dentistry.

Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery

This faculty is built around Shifa College of Nursing. It is the place to look if your target is nursing or midwifery rather than medicine or allied health.

This is the faculty to check for AI, general computing, security, or software engineering degrees.

How to Confirm Your Specific Program

The faculty and department list tells you whether a discipline exists at STMU; it does not confirm that a specific degree level (BS, MS, PhD) is currently open for admission. To verify:

1. Open the department page for your field and check which programs are listed.
2. Cross-check the Admissions section for current intake and eligibility.
3. For medicine and dentistry, use the college-specific admissions pages (SCM or SCD), which carry their own timelines and vacant-seat notices.

If your field does not appear under any of the five faculties above, STMU's published structure does not cover it.
