What GTA Boss Covers in Its GTA Online Weekly Update

Updated

GTA Boss's weekly update is a single page that collects the current week's GTA Online activity into one post: the Podium Vehicle, the Prize Ride, the featured series and its multipliers, plus the week's discounts and event notes. Use it when you want a quick snapshot of what is live this week before you log in; it is a summary, not a full mission walkthrough.

What a weekly update post contains

Based on the site's current update page, the post is organized around the items players check first each Thursday:

  • Podium Vehicle — the car on the casino wheel for the week.
  • Prize Ride — the vehicle awarded through the LS Car Meet challenge, with its unlock condition.
  • Featured Series and multipliers — which modes are paying bonus cash and RP, and at what rate.
  • Weekly discounts — the properties, vehicles, and upgrades currently on sale.
  • Event notes — seasonal or limited-time content layered on top of the normal rotation.

The October 22, 2026 update on the site follows this pattern: Podium Comet S2, Prize Ride Itali Classic, and 3x rewards on the Halloween Featured Series (Slasher and Ramius – Slasher).

How to read it efficiently

  1. Open the weekly update post from the homepage's "Latest for GTA Online" section.
  2. Scan the Podium and Prize Ride lines first — these change every week and are the most time-sensitive.
  3. Check the featured series multiplier before you queue for anything; a 3x week is worth prioritizing over normal payouts.
  4. Cross-check the discount list against whatever you were already planning to buy, rather than buying on impulse because it is discounted.
  5. If you missed a week, the news archive keeps past updates, so you can look back at what ran during a given period.

What it does not replace

The weekly post tells you what is active, not how to complete it. For the how, the site separates its content into distinct sections:

Section What you get
Weekly Update Current week's podium, prize ride, multipliers, discounts
Guides Step-by-step help, e.g. Ghost Locations 2026 (Ghosts Exposed)
Maps Location references for collectibles and activities
Businesses Reference material for the business side of GTA Online

So if the update mentions a Halloween event, the event page and the relevant guide carry the detail; the weekly post is the index.

Practical notes

  • The site also tracks GTA 6 alongside GTA Online, including a countdown to the listed release date and guides such as the PC tracker and Ultimate Edition vs Standard comparison. Keep the two sections separate when you are looking for Online info.
  • The site references "Premium Test Rides" as a GTA Online feature page; that is in-game content, not a subscription tier for the website.
  • Updates are dated, so always confirm you are reading the current week's post rather than a previous one — the headline date is the quickest check.
