What icon libraries are available on Iconer?

Updated

Iconer aggregates 20+ open-source icon libraries in one place, so you can browse, compare, and customize icons from Feather, Ionic, Heroicons, Tabler, Material, and many others without visiting each source separately. The libraries differ mainly by icon count, license (MIT, Apache 2.0, ISC, CC BY 4.0, or Unlicense), and style (line, solid, sharp, round). If you need a specific license for commercial use or a particular visual style, use the table below to pick the right library before you start editing.

Full library list with counts, categories, and licenses

How to choose a library for your project

The right pick depends on three things: license, style consistency, and icon count.

  • License first. If you need maximum freedom with no attribution, MIT, ISC, and Unlicense libraries are the simplest. Apache 2.0 (Iconpark, Material, Remix) also permits commercial use but includes a notice requirement. CC BY 4.0 (Basil) requires attribution.
  • Style consistency. Mixing a line-only library like Feather with a solid-and-sharp set like Material will look inconsistent. Pick one library per project, or one style variant across libraries.
  • Coverage. For broad UI needs, Bootstrap Icons (1668 icons, 45 categories) and Material Icons (2946 icons) cover the most ground. For a minimal, uniform look, Feather (286) or Mono (180) keep things tight.

Quick picks by use case

  • Minimal line UI: Feather, Lucide, Iconoir, Mono
  • Large general-purpose set: Material, Iconpark, Remix, Phosphor
  • Multi-style flexibility (line/solid/sharp/round): Remix, Boxicons, Teeny, Ionic
  • Framework-aligned: Heroicons (Tailwind-style), Bootstrap Icons, Radix
  • No-attribution, permissive: Systemui (Unlicense), Lucide (ISC), any MIT set

What you can do with a library once you pick one

Iconer lets you search, remix, and download royalty-free icons in SVG, PNG, HTML, JSX, and more. After choosing a library, you can edit attributes (such as stroke width, linecap, and linejoin where supported) and copy or export in your preferred format. The customization options vary by library — for example, Bytesize exposes stroke width, linecap, and linejoin, while Feather exposes stroke width and round.

If you are unsure which library fits, start with the style filter (line, solid, sharp, round) and the license filter, then sort by popularity. That narrows the list to a handful of candidates you can preview side by side.
