EnglishWhat Is American Lumber (alumber.com) and What Does the Site Offer?
Updated
American Lumber (alumber.com) is the website of a hardwood lumber supplier that has operated for over 70 years and sells both North American and imported hardwoods. The site is aimed at trade buyers—woodworking businesses, manufacturers, and others sourcing lumber in volume—rather than at retail shoppers. You can use it to review the product range, search inventory, and request a quote.
Who the company is
The site describes American Lumber as a hardwood lumber and hardwood log supplier that combines industry experience with technology and resources to help customers succeed. Two affiliations are stated on the page:
- Green Diamond brand — the company says its reputation for quality, service, and innovation is "synonymous with the Green Diamond brand."
- Member of The Baillie Group — listed at the top of the page, with LinkedIn and social links pointing to The Baillie Group.
The company presents itself as more than a North American supplier: it also sources imported hardwood lumber from South America, Africa, and Asia.
What the site offers
Lumber products
The product range covers almost all North American hardwood species, including:
- Red and white oak
- Ash
- Cherry
- Poplar
- Maple
- Hickory
- Alder
- Walnut
Imported hardwoods come from Africa, Asia, and Central and South America. The site also lists logs from North American hardwood forests and "custom grades" marketed as a way to improve yields.

When the site is useful to you
Use alumber.com if you need to identify a supplier for domestic or tropical hardwoods, check whether a species is offered, or start a quote for a mixed load or custom milling job. The site gives you the product categories and contact routes to begin that conversation; specific pricing, minimum order quantities, and current stock levels are not shown on the page, so those need to be confirmed through the quote form or by phone.
