What Is Asbury Church and What Does It Offer?

Asbury Church is a congregation of the Global Methodist Church located at 2801 W 15th Street, Wichita, KS 67203. It holds two Sunday worship services, at 8:00 and 10:30am, available both in person and online, and runs ministries for kids, youth, and adults alongside a preschool, a community garden, prayer, and events. This overview is for anyone checking whether Asbury matches what they're looking for in a church, a preschool, or a local community.

Where Asbury Church Is and How to Reach It

The site offers directions, so you can map the route before a first visit.

Worship Times and Options

Asbury holds two services every Sunday:

• 8:00am — in person
• 10:30am — in person

Both are also streamed online through a "Watch Now" link, so you can attend remotely if you can't make it to the building. If you're new, the church invites you to fill out a Connect Card so they can follow up with you and answer questions.

Ministries and Programs

The navigation lists these areas of church life:

• Asbury Kids — children's ministry
• Asbury Youth — youth ministry
• Adults at Asbury — adult groups and programming
• Missions — outreach beyond the congregation
• Community Garden — a shared garden space
• RightNow Media — a digital media resource for members
• Prayer — prayer requests and a current prayer list
• Events — upcoming activities to help newcomers connect

There is also a Preschool, referenced in the church's own description as an option for families looking for a preschool for their kids.

Getting Involved or Finding Out More

If you want to take a next step, the site points to several entry points:

1. Visit a service — Sunday at 8:00 or 10:30am, in person or online.
2. Fill out a Connect Card — lets the church know who you are and what questions you have.
3. Check upcoming events — a way to find a specific point of connection rather than just attending.
4. Read the mission and beliefs — the "Our Mission & Vision" page covers mission, vision, and core beliefs.
5. Meet the staff — a staff page also lists job opportunities.
6. Send a message or prayer request — a contact form on the site accepts comments, questions, and prayer requests.

For prayer specifically, you can submit a request or use the current prayer list to pray for others.

Practical Notes

• The site includes a sign-in area tied to a GoDaddy account, which appears to be part of the site's own account system rather than something a visitor needs for basic information.
• Giving, Realm, and Resources appear in the navigation, indicating online giving and a member/community platform are part of how the church operates.
• The footer lists the church's EIN (48-0571069), useful if you need it for donation or records purposes.

If you're deciding whether to visit, the clearest first step is a Sunday service — 8:00 or 10:30am, in person or online — followed by a Connect Card if you'd like someone to reach out.
