What is Daniel Scharrer's Abode in Cyberspace (ds.me)?

Updated

ds.me is the personal homepage of Daniel Scharrer, a software developer. It is a simple, non-commercial site that lists his projects, contact details, and links to his profiles on other platforms. It is not a product site, blog, or store—there is no pricing, login, or commercial offering on the page.

What the site contains

The page is organized around a short introduction and a Projects section.

Projects listed

Project Description License
Arx Libertatis Cross-platform port of Arx Fatalis, a first-person role-playing game GPL3+
innoextract Tool to unpack installers created by Inno Setup zlib/libpng

Both entries link to their respective project pages, so the site acts as a hub pointing to the actual project homes rather than hosting documentation itself.

Contact details

The page provides several ways to reach Daniel Scharrer:

  • Email: a short address at ds.me, plus a second address at constexpr.org
  • IRC: the nick ds on Libera, OFTC, or Rizon
  • PGP key: fingerprint 28555A66D7E1DEC9

Profile links

The page links out to his accounts on GitHub, OBS, Launchpad, and Open Hub, all under the handle dscharrer.

When this page is useful

  • You want to find the official home of Arx Libertatis or innoextract and confirm licensing before using or redistributing them.
  • You need to contact the developer, verify a PGP key, or find his code repositories.
  • You are checking whether ds.me is a commercial service—it is not; it is a personal page with no products for sale.

If you are looking for downloads, support forums, or documentation, follow the project links from this page to their dedicated sites rather than expecting them here.
