What Is Dream Cancel?

Updated

Dream Cancel is a North American SNK community website. It serves as a hub for players of SNK fighting games, offering community-editable gameplay wikis and a podcast series. If you play titles like Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The King of Fighters XV, or KOF2002UM, the site is a place to find and contribute gameplay information.

Gameplay Wikis

The site hosts open wikis for SNK fighting games. A current example is the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves wiki, which the site describes as open to anyone to edit and contribute information to, aimed at helping players of all skill levels learn and understand the game better.

The wiki pages also point visitors to community channels where they can communicate with other wiki editors.

Podcasts

Dream Cancel produces a podcast series called Dream Cancel Live! with numbered episodes. Episode topics have covered:

  • An interview with Sanwa|Laggia (Episode 1 of Lightning's Podcast)
  • Reactions to KOFXV trailers (Episode 120)
