What is Dream Makers Guild?

Updated

Dream Makers Guild is a historic help guild on Furcadia, formally called the Association of Dream Makers (ADM). Its purpose is to help players with dream-related questions and projects, and it has historically covered topics such as dream weaving, patch making, scripting, and even bot making. The guild is currently on hiatus, so membership approval may take a while and its listed guild email contact is not currently available.

What the guild does

According to the guild's own description, its activities include:

  • Building dreams
  • Testing DS theories
  • Answering dream-related questions
  • Holding meetings
  • Socializing: joking, dancing, singing, and "making merry"

The guild describes itself as a "historic help guild," which signals that its role is primarily knowledge-sharing and community support rather than commercial services.

How to join

Joining is handled through the Furcadia website rather than through this page. Two conditions matter:

  1. The Rah has the final word on who is accepted for membership.
  2. Approval may take a while because the guild is undergoing a hiatus at this time.

If you are looking for active, immediate help with dream weaving or scripting, the hiatus is the key limitation to plan around. If you are researching Furcadia's community history or want to eventually join a long-standing help guild, the ADM is a relevant starting point, but expect delayed responses and no currently listed email contact.
