What Is gomountainlions.com?

Updated

gomountainlions.com is the official athletics website for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) Mountain Lions. It is the athletic department's own site, separate from the university's main academic website, and it serves as the central hub for UCCS varsity sports news, schedules, results, and media.

What the site is

The site identifies itself as "UCCS Athletics – Official Athletics Website" and describes itself as "the official athletics website for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Mountain Lions." That wording matters: it is the department's official channel, not a fan blog or a general university portal.

What you can find there

The homepage is organized around a few recurring sections:

  • Top Stories – featured news about Mountain Lions teams and athletes
  • Mountain Lions Schedule – upcoming events and results, with a link to the full schedule
  • ContentStream – a running feed of athletics content
  • SlideShow and Mountain Lions Galleries – photos and visual media
  • Videos and Promos – video content and promotional items

In practice, that means the site answers questions like: When does a team play next? How did the last game end? What's the latest news about a program? Where can I see photos or video from an event?

Who it covers

The site covers UCCS varsity sports programs — the Mountain Lions teams that compete under the UCCS athletics department. It is not a general events calendar for the campus, and it does not replace the university's main site for admissions, academics, or campus services.

Streaming and access

The site links to the RMAC Network (rmacnetwork.com), the conference streaming platform, including a purchase page. If you want to watch live events online, that link is the place to start. The site itself does not state pricing for those services, so check the RMAC Network page directly for current options and costs.

When to use it

Use gomountainlions.com when you want official team news, schedules, results, rosters, photos, or video for UCCS Mountain Lions athletics. Use the university's main website instead for academic, admissions, or campus-life information.
