What Is Gorilla Playsets and What Does the Website Offer?

Updated

Gorilla Playsets is a brand and online store for outdoor playsets and backyard swing sets, aimed at families shopping for home play equipment. The site lets you browse sets by size and price, configure roof and add-on options, and choose between DIY delivery and professional installation. It is a shopping site rather than a pure information resource, and the product pages show current sale pricing and configuration choices.

What the site sells

The catalog centers on wooden backyard swing sets with climbing, sliding, and fort features. The homepage highlights several named models across a wide price range, from compact sets to large "extreme" configurations:

Model Listed sale price (DIY) Notes from the page
Outing Swing Set From $1,419 Roof and add-on options; smallest listed set
High Point Deluxe Swing Set $1,999 Single listed configuration
Savannah Swing Set From $2,999 Wood roof or vinyl canopy
Wilderness Gym Swing Set From $3,599 Multiple roof styles including Treehouse and SkyLoft
Empire Extreme Swing Set $6,599 Largest listed set; $9,449 regular price

Prices above are the DIY figures shown on the page; installation adds a separate charge (for example, $7,648 for the Empire Extreme with installation).

How the site is organized

  • Sale and seasonal sections. The homepage leads with a "Santa's Sneak Peak Sale" advertising up to $2,000 off, plus an early holiday sale and an installation sale.
  • Best-seller and small-backyard collections. These shortcut sections help narrow the catalog by popularity or yard size.
  • Product configuration. Each set page lets you pick a roof type (wood roof, vinyl canopy, treehouse windows, SkyLoft) and add-ons such as monkey bars or a trapeze bar, with the price updating per combination.
  • DIY vs. installation toggle. Every product page includes an "Add Installation?" choice that switches between the DIY price and the installed price.

What to check before buying

The listed prices are sale prices, so confirm the current price and what the sale includes at checkout. Installation pricing varies by set and is shown alongside the DIY price, which makes it easy to compare the two. Roof and add-on choices change both the price and the play features, so decide on those before comparing models. The site does not state delivery terms, warranty details, or assembly requirements in the material reviewed, so check those on the individual product pages or with the retailer before ordering.

If you are comparing sets, start with your yard size and budget, then use the roof and add-on options to match the set to your children's ages and the space available.
