What Is Goskyscout? A Flight Comparison Site for Gulf Departures
Updated
Goskyscout is a flight comparison and search site built around departures from Gulf airports — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and others. You search a route, compare current flight options, then continue to an airline or travel agency to complete the booking. It is a starting point for comparing, not a booking engine: the site states there is no Goskyscout fee for travellers, and the actual ticket is purchased from the provider you choose.
How the search works
The homepage search is built around a few inputs you set before results appear:
- Airport search — find airports by city, code or country.
- Trip type — round trip, one way, or multi-city (with the option to add another flight).
- Passengers — adults, children (2–11) and infants under 2, each with its own counter.
- Cabin — economy, premium economy, business or first class.
- Currency — a long list including AED, INR, PKR, BDT, USD, QAR, SAR, GBP, EUR and many Asian currencies.
- Date flexibility — exact dates, ± 3 days, or whole month.
- Direct flights only — a toggle if you don't want connections.
After you search, the site hands off to Aviasales in the same tab. That handoff is the key thing to understand: Goskyscout shows you the comparison, and Aviasales (or the provider behind the result) handles the transaction. Before paying, confirm the provider, the final price, baggage allowance and ticket conditions.
One practical constraint: flight search requires JavaScript enabled in your browser.
What you get beyond a search box
Route guides and popular routes
The site groups routes travellers search most, each with a guide page. Examples visible on the homepage:
| Route | Airline shown | Sample one-way fare | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| DXB → BOM (Dubai–Mumbai) | Air India | AED 361 | Nonstop |
| DXB → COK (Dubai–Kochi) | SpiceJet | AED 352 | Nonstop |
| AUH → TRV (Abu Dhabi–Thiruvananthapuram) | Air Arabia Abu Dhabi | AED 278 | Nonstop |
| SHJ → CCJ (Sharjah–Kozhikode) | SalamAir | AED 444 | 1 stop |
| DXB → KHI (Dubai–Karachi) | — | Choose your dates | Current search |
| DXB → DAC (Dubai–Dhaka) | — | Choose your dates | Current search |
Those fares were checked on Sep 7, 2026, and the site notes prices can change before booking. Treat them as a signal of what a route costs, not a quote — open current results or set your own dates before deciding.
Fare alerts
"Keep an eye on a route" is a fare alert tool: you follow a route and the site watches it rather than you re-searching manually. This is useful for routes where you have flexibility on dates but not on destination.
Currency and flexibility controls
Because the audience is Gulf-based travellers with ties across South Asia and Southeast Asia, the currency list and the ± 3 days / whole month options matter more than they would on a generic search engine. If your dates are soft, the whole-month view is the fastest way to spot a cheaper departure day.
When Goskyscout is the right tool — and when it isn't
Use it if: you're departing from a Gulf airport, you want to compare options across airlines before committing, and you're comfortable completing the purchase on a partner site.
Look elsewhere if: you need to book and manage the ticket entirely in one place, or you want a provider that handles changes and refunds directly. Since Goskyscout passes you to Aviasales and then to an airline or agency, your post-booking support comes from whoever issued the ticket.
The comparison step is free and there's no traveller fee from Goskyscout itself, but that says nothing about the fare, baggage fees or change conditions attached to the ticket you eventually buy — those are set by the provider.
