What Is GTA Boss (gtaboss.gg)?

Updated

GTA Boss is a fan-run guide and news site covering Grand Theft Auto Online and GTA 6. It publishes weekly GTA Online updates, maps, vehicle and business information, guides, and a GTA 6 release countdown. It is useful if you want one place to check the current GTA Online week and follow GTA 6 news; it is not an official Rockstar Games site.

What the site covers

The homepage is organized into two main sections, GTA Online and GTA 6, each with its own latest news and guides feed.

Section What you'll find
GTA Online Weekly updates, maps, vehicles, businesses, guides
GTA 6 Release countdown, map, guides, release date

GTA Online content

The weekly update is the core recurring item. In the edition shown on the site (week of Oct 22, 2026), the post lists the Podium vehicle (Comet S2), the Prize Ride (Itali Classic), and a 3x reward on the Halloween Featured Series (Slasher, Ramius - Slasher). That format is typical: each week's post bundles the rotating rewards and bonuses so you can check them in one read.

Beyond the weekly post, the site links to dedicated pages for Map, Vehicles, Businesses, and Guides. Seasonal content also appears, such as a Ghost Locations guide for the 2026 Halloween event and a Halloween Event overview.

GTA 6 content

The GTA 6 section carries a countdown to the release date (the site showed 27 days until Nov 19, 2026 at the time of the captured page) plus a map, guides, and release date page. Recent guide topics include whether GTA 6 is coming to PC, a comparison of the Ultimate Edition vs Standard Edition, and a breakdown of radio stations and soundtrack.

How to use it

  1. Open gtaboss.gg and pick GTA Online or GTA 6 from the top navigation.
  2. For weekly rewards, go to the latest Weekly Update post and scan the Podium, Prize Ride, and bonus lines.
  3. For collectibles or event tasks, use the linked guide (for example, the Ghost Locations guide during Halloween).
  4. To keep up between visits, the site points readers to @gtabossgg on X for weekly updates and guides.

Things to keep in mind

  • The site is a third-party fan resource, so treat it as a convenience layer over official announcements rather than an authority on release dates or patch details.
  • The page references a "Premium Test Rides" page under GTA Online. The captured material does not state pricing or login requirements, so check that page directly if you want to know what access it involves.
  • Weekly reward details rotate; confirm against the current week's post rather than an older one.

If you mainly play GTA Online week to week, the weekly update post is the fastest thing to check. If you're tracking GTA 6, the countdown and the PC/edition guides are the most relevant pages.
