EnglishWhat is Hastings Veterinary Hospital (hastingsvet.com)?
Updated
Hastings Veterinary Hospital is a veterinary clinic in Burnaby, British Columbia, that provides medical, dental, and dermatological care for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Its website, hastingsvet.com, is the hospital's own informational site, describing its services, philosophy, and team, and listing a phone number for appointments: (604) 291-6666. It is relevant if you are looking for a small-animal hospital in Burnaby or Vancouver, BC, and want to know what the clinic treats and how to reach it.
Who it serves
The site describes the hospital as a friendly animal hospital for dogs and cats, with rabbits also named as patients. Geographically, it presents itself as serving Burnaby and Vancouver, BC.
If you have a pet outside those species or outside the Lower Mainland area, the site's own description does not indicate that it covers that case, so you would need to call to confirm.
Services described on the site
| Service area | What the site states |
|---|---|
| Medical care | Medical pet care for dogs, cats, and rabbits |
| Dental care | Dental pet care |
| Dermatological care | Dermatological (skin) pet care |
These are the service categories the site itself names. It does not publish a detailed procedure list, pricing, or booking system in the material available, so treat the table as a summary of stated service areas rather than a full scope of practice.
What else the site contains
The site's headings point to a few recurring themes:
- Quality pet care and Our philosophy — statements about the clinic's approach to treatment.
- We welcome your furry family and We love pets! — client- and patient-facing messaging.
- Meet the Hastings Team — an introduction to the staff.
- Cat Environmental Enrichment for Indoor Cats — a posted article (dated September 14, 2026) about enriching an indoor cat's environment to prevent behavioural problems and make it easier to monitor the cat's health day to day.
That last item is a useful signal about the site's content: it mixes practical client education with clinic information, rather than acting only as a service listing.
How to use the site
