What Is HomeschoolDiploma.com?

Updated

HomeschoolDiploma.com is an online service that creates customized graduation materials for homeschooling families — primarily diplomas, transcripts, regalia, and invitations. It has served the homeschool community since 2002 and positions its products as a way to give a homeschool graduation "dignity and meaning." If you're finishing a homeschool program and want an official-looking diploma or a transcript for college applications, this is the kind of service you'd look at.

What the service provides

Based on the site's own descriptions, the core offerings are:

  • Customized diplomas — presented as "a genuine document as unique as your fingerprint," with many customization options so the diploma reflects the individual student.
  • Official high school transcripts — designed to document a homeschool education for colleges and other institutions.
  • Regalia and invitations — graduation items to round out a ceremony or celebration.

The emphasis throughout is on customization: the site frames each choice as something that "defines and reflects the value of your graduate's achievement."

Who it's for

Homeschooling families who are graduating a student and want:

  • A diploma that looks authentic and can be personalized to their situation.
  • A transcript formatted for submission to colleges or other institutions.
  • Coordinated graduation items (regalia, invitations) from one place.

One reviewer noted the company "allowed me to not only construct a diploma that fit our situation" and that the order process "gave all kinds of options I had not thought of" — useful if you're unsure what a homeschool diploma should include.

Turnaround and ordering

The site states that work begins on an order immediately and that it "should be at your doorstep within a week." Orders are built through a customization process ("Create Your Diploma" / "Create Your Transcript"), so you select options rather than buying a fixed product.

What customers report

The page collects reviews (also linked to Facebook and Google) that consistently mention:

  • Quality and durability — "made to last a lifetime," "beautifully constructed and authentic looking."
  • Customization depth — "so many options for customization that we were able to get exactly what we wanted."
  • Speed — "quick delivery," "lightning fast."

These are customer testimonials rather than independent verification, so treat them as indicative of satisfaction, not a guarantee.

Practical considerations

  • Pricing isn't listed in the available information, so check the site directly for current costs before ordering.
  • Transcripts for colleges — if the transcript is for admissions, confirm with the specific college what format and documentation they require; the site markets the transcript as suitable for this purpose, but requirements vary by institution.
  • Timing — if you need materials by a graduation date, the stated one-week delivery is worth confirming at order time, especially for customized items.
