What Is IKMF Krav Maga?

IKMF (Israeli Krav Maga Federation) is an international Krav Maga organization that presents itself as a leading provider of self-defense instruction. Its site, kravmaga-ikmf.com, is the organization's public hub for its training system, global locations, course categories, and upcoming events. If you are looking for an established Krav Maga body with military and law enforcement ties, or you want to find a course or instructor pathway, this site is the starting point.

What IKMF Is

IKMF describes itself as a world-leading Krav Maga organization offering a self-defense method that originated in Israel and has been adopted by military and law enforcement forces around the world. That framing matters: it positions the organization not as a single gym but as a system with a formal curriculum and an international footprint.

What the Website Covers

The homepage is organized around a few clear blocks:

• Known From – media or recognition references
• Our Locations – the global network of branches
• Categories – the different training tracks offered
• Upcoming Events – scheduled camps, courses, and gradings

This structure tells you the site is meant for two audiences: people who want to train, and people who want to understand the organization's scope.

Training Categories Listed

The categories shown on the site include:

The presence of separate law enforcement, military, and VIP protection tracks reflects the organization's claim of being adopted by professional forces, not just civilian students.

What to Keep in Mind

• The site does not publish prices in the material reviewed here, so you will need to contact the organization or a local branch for costs.
• Event dates are listed for 2026; confirm details before making travel plans.
• "World leading" is the organization's own description, not an independent ranking.

If you want to train in Krav Maga, teach it, or connect with a branch, IKMF's site gives you the categories and event calendar to start. If you need pricing, certification requirements, or local schedules, those details require direct contact.
