What Is Lotus LED Lights?

Updated

Lotus LED Lights is a manufacturer and wholesale supplier of residential and commercial LED recessed lighting fixtures for the US and Canada, operating since 2008. Its catalog centers on super-slim recessed downlights and related lighting products, and the site serves both trade professionals and homeowners with product browsing, catalogs, and a distributor locator.

What the company does

Lotus LED Lights describes itself as a manufacturer and wholesale supplier rather than a retailer. Its stated customers include architects, interior decorators, designers, builders, electricians, and homeowners across North America.

The company positions its recessed fixtures as an alternative to traditional recessed lighting, emphasizing flexibility in placement. According to its site, customers have installed its lights in tight or hard-to-reach spots such as attics, closets, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, soffits, garages, hallways, and stairwells — areas it says would be difficult with traditional recessed lighting requirements.

Product categories

The site organizes products into these main groups:

Category What it covers

A newer line called TANGRA is featured as an "elevated lighting experience," with its own catalog and products such as the Tangra 3″ Fixed Round Deep Invisible Flangeless (L3F-RDF) and Tangra 3″ Gimbal Square Recessed Thin Trim (L3G-SRT).

Resources and buying

The site provides several ways to move from browsing to purchasing:

  • Catalogs — a 2026 product catalog, a 2026 tape/drivers/extrusions catalog, and a Tangra catalog
  • Where to Buy — a distributor locator and an agent locator
  • Resources — product videos, installation videos, sell sheets, compatibility lists, a samples policy, a knowledge base, layout design tools, and warranty information
  • Members Area — a separate section for registered users

If you are specifying fixtures for a project, the compatibility lists and layout design tools are the most practical starting points. If you are trying to purchase, use the distributor or agent locator rather than expecting direct checkout — the site is structured around wholesale and dealer channels.
