EnglishWhat Is Miami Yacht Charters (miamicharters.com)?
Updated
Miami Yacht Charters is a luxury yacht charter and rental service that arranges professionally crewed yacht experiences in South Florida and The Bahamas. It is relevant to you if you are planning a private event, corporate outing, or special occasion on the water and want a crewed vessel rather than a bareboat rental. The site presents itself as a selection of luxury yachts available for charter across several coastal markets.
What the service covers
According to the site, Miami Yacht Charters focuses on professionally crewed luxury yacht rentals and charters. The key distinction is the crew: you are not operating the vessel yourself, and the experience is built around a staffed yacht.
The stated service area includes:
- Miami
- Miami Beach
- Fort Lauderdale
- West Palm Beach
- The Bahamas
This means the company positions itself as a regional charter provider rather than a single-marina operation, covering both the Florida coast and a cross-border destination.
Yachts and use cases
The site organizes its offering around a featured yacht selection and a broader catalog of "more luxury yacht rentals." Rather than a single boat type, the model is a fleet you choose from based on your event.
It explicitly names several use cases:
| Use case | What the site says |
|---|---|
| Corporate team building | Listed as a core offering |
| Creative charters and events | Grouped with corporate and event charters |
| Corporate sailing regattas | Described as an interactive sailing experience |
| General events | Framed as "luxury yacht rentals for any event" |
The regatta mention is worth noting: it suggests an option for groups that want participation and sailing activity, not just a stationary or cruising charter.
How to decide if it fits your needs
Use these conditions to judge fit:
- You want a crewed yacht. If you intend to captain the boat yourself, this is not the right match.
- Your event is in South Florida or The Bahamas. The listed coverage is Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and the Bahamas.
- You are booking for a group or occasion. Corporate team building, creative charters, regattas, and general events are the stated scenarios.
- You need to compare vessels. The site is structured around browsing a featured selection and additional yachts, so expect to choose a specific boat rather than a single fixed package.
What to confirm before booking
The available site information does not include pricing, payment methods, or booking terms. Before committing, verify directly:
- Availability and pricing for your date and chosen yacht.
- What the crew and base fee include versus extras.
- Departure location for your specific market, since the service spans multiple cities.
- Bahamas charter requirements, which typically differ from domestic Florida trips.
Treat the website as a starting catalog of crewed yacht options in the region, then confirm the operational details with the provider for your specific event.
