What is MinCalc?
Updated
MinCalc is a website that hosts five calm, logic-based daily puzzle games. Each game publishes one new puzzle per day, and you can play today's puzzle or revisit any past day from a calendar. No account is required, and the site describes the commitment as roughly two minutes a day.
The five games
MinCalc's homepage lists five games, each showing the same puzzle number (#167) at the time of the source page, which indicates they advance in step day by day.
| Game | What the page shows | Puzzle idea (from the page) |
|---|---|---|
| Targle | 1 2 + 5 − 4 = 13 |
"The number is given. The equation isn't." |
| Sumrex | "Six digits, six rules, one sum." | A digit-and-rule summing puzzle |
| Quackle | 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 | "Flock in the pond, gap at the shore." |
| Toadle | 2 4 6 8 / 8 |
"Score the word. One number at a time." |
| Peerkle | ↓ 8 |
"Eight rungs. One order. Five tries." |
Each entry has a "Play today →" link, so you start a puzzle directly from the homepage.
How the daily format works
- One puzzle per game per day. All five games share the same daily number, so a single visit covers the whole set.
- Today or the archive. A calendar lets you open today's puzzle or any past day, so a missed day isn't lost.
- No accounts. The site states no accounts are needed, so there's no sign-up step before playing.
- Short sessions. The stated pace is about two minutes a day, which fits the "calm" framing rather than a timed or competitive one.
Who it suits
MinCalc fits a short daily routine built around logic rather than speed or streaks: you open the site, solve one puzzle per game, and stop. If you prefer a single deep puzzle session or want progress tracking tied to an account, the daily, no-login format here works differently. If you just want a few quiet minutes of number and word reasoning, the five-game set gives you variety within the same visit.
To try it, open mincalc.com and pick any game's "Play today" link, or use the calendar to start from an earlier day.
