What is Mondo (mondoshop.com)?

Updated

Mondo is an online store that sells licensed collectibles and pop-culture merchandise, primarily action figures, enamel pins, and vinyl soundtracks tied to film, TV, animation, and video game properties. It's worth browsing if you're looking for officially licensed figures or soundtrack pressings from specific franchises, and you can buy directly or place pre-orders through the site.

What Mondo sells

The catalog centers on a few recurring product categories, each tied to licensed entertainment properties:

  • Action figures — including 1/12 and 1/6 scale figures. Examples from the site include The Real Ghostbusters Winston Zeddemore and Peter Venkman (1/12 scale, $101 each), a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo (1/6 scale, $235), and a Masters of the Universe He-Man (1/12 scale, $95).
  • Figure sets — multi-character packs such as the A Goofy Movie Powerline, Max, & Goofy set and an Over the Garden Wall Chapter 1 set ($95).
  • Enamel pins — smaller collectibles like a Jean Grey pin by Tom Whalen ($15).
  • Vinyl soundtracks — original motion picture and series soundtracks on LP and multi-LP sets, including Oppenheimer (3XLP, $50), Freddy Vs. Jason (2XLP, $60), Superman (2XLP, $55), Metal Gear Solid – Piano Collection (2XLP, $48), Monarch: Legacy of Monsters ($35), Silver Bullet ($35), The Last of Us: Season 1 (2xLP, $42), and God of War Ragnarok (3XLP + slipcase, $60).

How buying works

Products on the site fall into two purchase modes:

  • Add to Cart — items available to order now.
  • Pre-Order — items not yet released, which you reserve in advance.

Some listings also show a Select Option control, meaning you choose a variant (for example, a specific edition or format) before adding to cart. Checkout is handled through the site's own checkout page.

What to know before browsing

  • Licensing is central. Nearly every product is tied to a named franchise or creator, so the store is most useful if you're hunting for a specific IP rather than browsing generic merchandise.
  • Editions vary. Some soundtracks are marked "Limited Edition," "Exclusive," or "Distributed title," which signals different availability and sourcing — worth checking per item if edition matters to you.
  • Prices are listed per item on the product page, so you can compare scale, format, and cost directly before deciding.

If you're after a licensed figure or a soundtrack pressing from a particular film, show, or game, Mondo is a direct place to check availability and place an order or pre-order.
