What Is Music League?

Updated

Music League is a music discovery game that blends sharing songs with friendly competition. You join a league made up of rounds, and each round has a theme. When a round starts, you submit a song that fits the theme; once everyone has submitted, the platform sends a playlist to listen to, and after listening you vote and share comments. When the votes are in, you see the results and comments, and the points you earn each round count toward winning the entire league.

It is available on the web, iOS, and Android, so you can play from a browser or a phone app.

How a League Works

The structure is simple and repeats each round:

  1. A theme is set. Every round has a theme that your song submission must fit.
  2. You submit a song. Pick a track that matches the theme and submit it before the round moves on.
  3. A playlist is shared. When everyone has submitted, Music League sends you a playlist of all the submissions to listen to.
  4. You vote and comment. After listening, you vote and share comments on the songs.
  5. Results are shown. Once voting closes, you see the results and comments.
  6. Points accumulate. The points you earn each round build toward your quest to win the whole league.

What You Get Out of It

  • Music discovery: You hear new artists and songs through the playlists built from everyone's submissions.
  • Sharing your taste: You get to put your favorite music forward and see how others respond.
  • Competition: Voting turns each round into a contest, and points carry across rounds toward a league winner.

Who It's For

If you enjoy discovering new music, comparing taste with friends, and adding a light competitive layer to listening, Music League fits that combination. The core loop — submit, listen, vote, see results — is what drives each round and the league as a whole.
