What is Pinewood Golf Club?

Updated

Pinewood Golf Club is a golf and event venue in Harshaw, Wisconsin, positioned as "the most scenic golf course in the Northwoods." Its website describes a warm, comfortable environment for a round of golf with friends, a golf tournament, a business meeting, or a social event. If you are looking for a Northwoods course to play or a setting for a group gathering, this is the entity behind pinewoodcc.com.

What the club offers

Based on the site's own description, Pinewood serves two broad purposes:

  • Golf — casual rounds with friends and organized golf tournaments.
  • Events and meetings — the club presents itself as a venue for meetings, social events, and group functions.

The common thread is group use: the site frames the course as a place for "your next meeting, golf tournament or just a round of golf with friends," rather than emphasizing solo play or a retail pro shop.

What makes it distinctive

The club's stated identity is its setting. Pinewood calls itself the most scenic course in the Northwoods and leans on that Northwoods environment as the reason it suits both social events and a day of golf. If scenery and a north-woods atmosphere matter more to you than a championship-style layout or a large resort amenity list, that positioning is the main draw.
