EnglishWhat Is SearchGfx?
Updated
SearchGfx (searchgfx.com) is a digital asset search and indexing site. It lets you browse and filter a large catalog of design resources — graphics, templates, fonts, video assets, 3D models, software, tutorials, e-books, and audio — through an advanced search interface with time and category filters. It is aimed at designers, video editors, developers, and other creators who need to locate specific asset types quickly.
What You Can Find on SearchGfx
The catalog is organized into broad groups, each with subcategories. Based on the site's category menu, the main areas include:
| Group | Examples of subcategories |
|---|---|
| Graphics & design assets | Vectors, stock photos, fonts, font bundles, Photoshop mock-ups, layered PSD, transparent PNG, actions, styles, brushes, gradients, shapes, patterns, Lightroom presets, web design elements |
| Video | After Effects project files, Premiere Pro, Apple Motion templates, DaVinci Resolve, footage, video loops |
| Web & CMS templates | WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, HTML, PSD, Shopify, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Tumblr, Blogger, Unbounce, Instapage |
| Presentation | PowerPoint templates, Keynote templates |
| Scripts & extensions | CMS extensions, eCommerce, HTML5, mobile, jQuery, PHP, plug-ins |
| 3D | 3D models and add-ons for 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Unreal, Poser, and others |
| Software | Windows, Mac, Linux, portable |
| Tutorials | Design, web design, graphic design/illustration, UX, game design, 3D and animation, photography and video, development, business, and more |
| E-books & audio books | 3D, architecture, graphic design, marketing, programming, web design, music, plus magazines |
| Sounds | Loops, refills, sample libraries, sound FX, VSTI, production music |
There are also special collections, such as GFXTRA Special, FIRST TIME SHARED, AI Prompt, and seasonal bundles (for example, a Christmas bundle).
How the Search Works
SearchGfx provides an Advanced Search with two main filters:
- Time: All Times, Last 24 Hours, Last Week, Last Month, Last Year
- Category: a full category selector covering every group listed above
This combination is the core of the site's value. Instead of browsing one asset type at a time, you can narrow results to recent items within a specific category — useful when you want newly shared resources rather than an entire archive.
Who It Is For
- Graphic and web designers looking for vectors, mock-ups, fonts, UI kits, or CMS themes
- Video editors and motion designers needing After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve templates and footage
- 3D artists searching for models and add-ons across multiple 3D applications
- Developers after scripts, CMS extensions, or plug-ins
- Learners browsing tutorials, e-books, and audio books
Practical Notes
- The site functions as an index — it organizes and surfaces assets by type and recency, so the category and time filters are the fastest way to reach relevant results.
- Because the catalog spans many unrelated disciplines (from fonts to finance tutorials), using the category selector first will save time compared to keyword-only searching.
- The available evidence does not state pricing, account requirements, or download terms, so check the site directly for those details before relying on it for a project.
