EnglishWhat is SMBArena?
Updated
SMBArena (smbarena.com) is a community website for the SMB Arena group, which is centered on a Discord server. The site is built to stay independent of Discord: according to its own notice, even when the Discord server went down, "the website, being completely independent of Discord, is still up and running." Visitors should treat it as a community hub for news and updates, not as a game, store, or service with accounts of its own.
What the site actually does
Based on the published page content, SMBArena serves a few concrete purposes:
- Posts community updates. The current notice, "Discord Incident," explains what happened when the SMB Arena Discord server disappeared on 12 October 2026.
- Keeps a record of the incident. It documents that the server owner's Discord account was disabled after suspicious activity, that the account was recovered with a new password, and that the server did not reappear afterward.
- Points to where the community moved. A replacement server was created and the most active members were invited back; activity reportedly resumed there.
- Collects help from members. Readers who have any backup of the old server are asked to get in touch by email or through the new server.
- Acknowledges supporters. The page thanks people who help keep the site online through Ko-Fi support.
What happened to the Discord server
The notice gives a clear sequence, which is useful if you are trying to work out whether the community is still active:
| Step | What happened |
|---|---|
| 1 | On 12 October 2026, the SMB Arena Discord server disappeared |
| 2 | The creator's Discord account had been disabled after suspicious activity, allegedly a compromise |
| 3 | The creator set a new password and recovered the account, but the server was still gone |
| 4 | The team contacted Discord Support and built a new server, inviting back the most active members |
| 5 | A response from Discord Support about restoring the original server was still pending at the time of writing |
What survived: the most active members moved to the new server, and activity resumed there. Chat logs exist only as a backup held by StudsX, covering up to 29 December 2023 — everything after that date is not covered by any known backup.
Who the site is for
SMBArena is relevant if you are:
- A current or former member of the SMB Arena Discord community looking for what happened and where people went.
- Someone holding an old backup of the server who can help the team reconstruct lost history.
- A visitor who wants community news without depending on Discord being available.
It is not a general-purpose resource: the page evidence shows a single community notice, not a catalog of tools, downloads, or services. If you arrived expecting game content or a marketplace, the site as documented here does not provide that.
Practical next steps
- To rejoin the community: use the link to the new server referenced on the page, since the original server's restoration was still unresolved.
- To help with recovery: contact the team by email or through the new server if you have any backup of the old server.
- To support the site: the page links to Ko-Fi for people who want to help with hosting costs.
One caution: the page does not state any pricing, membership terms, or login requirements for the website itself, so do not assume either free access or paid tiers beyond what is written there. The only confirmed facts are the incident timeline, the existence of a replacement server, the limited chat-log backup, and the Ko-Fi support link.
